Revolver

Elikäs. Revolver on työnimi Zombies eat flesh ja If my memory serves (Muistoissain) peleihin tulevasta narration control systeemistä.

Periaatteessa ajatuksena on tuollainen ympyrä jossa on eri kohtaukset merkittyinä. Kohtauksesta siirrytään toiseen riippuen miten onnistuttiin edellisessä kohtauksessa.

Revolver dice mechanics

I introduce the concept of dice stability. Consider any normal roleplaying die. d4-d20. Each of these can be used as a 50/50 rolling, given that d20 50/50 is 1-10 fail, 11-20 success and d4 is 1-2 fail, 3-4 success.

Ok. take the ability to change the die roll by taking doom or other counters, ingame mechanic currency, to change the resulting number. say, you can change the number on a dice by one for one counter. This makes d20 success or fail a lot more stable than d4.

Right. Let us say that each character has a Burden. Say: Exemplary: temperance, pride. Choose and give [d10,d4] to these themes
when you need (or want), you can roll one or both these dice with your normal conflict resolver d6. if any of these die result in success you win the conflict. if a burden die provided the success you decrease the die size and if it rolled failure you increase the size. you can use counters to modify these before resolving their change.

What does this mean? If you choose to play your virtue and vice to the scene, you either strenghten or weaken them. You can choose not to involve them. ….

Tonpan mailaama viritys johonkin high school rumbleen. Tonpa saa itse selitää tämän.
